About Saltburn Hearing
Saltburn Hearing opened in February 2023 to address the need for a local hearing clinic in the Redcar and Cleveland area. As GP practices began to lose funding for ear wax removal it became obvious that the area was lacking in affordable and local hearing care. We’re a private independent company, but we’re not here to take advantage of you. We try to keep costs down and are proud to be the most affordable wax removal specialist in the area. We also want to raise awareness of hearing loss without the pressure of you buying hearing aids – so we don’t sell them! We just give honest and impartial advice so that you can make a fully informed decision.
Meet our Audiologist
Jenny has been qualified since 2016. She studied sound engineering at Teesside University and then gained her Audiology diploma whilst working at The James Cook University Hospital. A few years later she joined a national hearing care company where she trained in microsuction ear wax removal, adding this skill to her job role of dispensing a range of hearing aids across the north east in clinics and homes.
In December 2022 Jenny decided to leave her current role and open Saltburn Hearing so that she could use her experience and qualifications to help those in and around Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
